We have lost our national identity that were the words of people in china when the first tin of coca-cola appeared in their country. Not only there but also in well-developed countries in Europe, lots of politicians from right wing of parliament announce the same. As far as I am concerned that sounds irrelevant and I firmly believe that globalization makes national identity even stronger than ever.
Firstly in time of globalization everything is about money. So if our country is about to win this competition, to reach the richest tourists we have to be original , and the simplest way to do this is to emphasise and show up our nations tradition, culture and virgin regions of our country for example Puszcza Bialowieska. While doing this we make our national identity stronger.
Moreover, when we are living in multicultural world we need to have place where our roots are and where we can say that is my home. Although we want to be proud that we are Poles so we are trying to help each other and developed our national identity.
On the other hand it is obviously that in time of globalisation there is strong influence of other cultures on ours and ours will start to change because of them.
To sum up I firmly believe that national identity in time of globalisation will not disappear, moreover it will be stronger. Even if there are some changes, there is nothing to be afraid of.
